Before Planned Area Developments, Home Owner Associations and urban sprawl, there was the company town. Towns were carefully planned and compactly laid out to meet the needs of its residents. This inspired a community spirit rarely found today. The once prosperous mining town of Clarkdale, Arizona is a delightful reminder of the “Home Sweet Home” of yesteryear.
